Clinical Supervision
Are you are a graduate student in an accredited MFT program or just received your Limited Permit who is looking for clinical supervision? Transforming Connection offers supervision for individuals in an accredited graduate program and/or applying for licensure as a marriage and family therapist in New York State. If you are looking to work in a private practice setting as a therapist intern or under limited permit please contact me. We would love to get to know you better and see if you are a good fit for the practice.

NYS Marriage and Family Therapy:License Requirements (nysed.gov)
The ideal candidate for this position will have a special interest in family systems theory and working with couples, families, individuals, and group therapy in a private practice setting. They need to be able to work as a team and portray good communication skills.
Duties:
1. Provide Individual, Couples, Family Therapy, and Group Therapy.
2. Complete case notes, treatment plans, termination summaries, and case conceptualizations.
3. Participate in blog writing.
4. Participate in weekly group and/or individual supervision.
Hours:
Hours are flexible, based on the requirements needed for licensure and your availability. You will only be assigned a client within your availability.
Qualifications:
1. Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with Limited Permit or in an accredited Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s program.

2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Understanding and utilizing of theory and intervention strategies.
4. Desire to continue to learn and grow as a therapist.
5. Be open to facilitating groups.
Practice Location:
We are 100% virtual during this time.
